Shake Your Soul®

Experience a new way to relax, energize, and awaken your soul!

Join us on Wednesday, May 29th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm for an unforgettable Shake Your Soul® movement practice at WANDER.

This unique class blends powerful, fluid dance with world music, creating a sacred and joyful space to let loose, sweat, and connect with others.

The class begins at 6:30 pm, but you're invited to arrive early and stay late to meet fellow soul shakers and explore all that WANDER has to offer.

Shake Your Soul® is not just about dance—it's about the bliss of music, breath, and movement, bringing together a community of creative, joyful dancers. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or new to this practice, everyone is welcome! The class is designed to relax your nervous system, energize your body, and leave you feeling alive and rejuvenated.

After the class, take the opportunity to mingle with other participants and explore the WANDER venue. This is your chance to meet like-minded people and maybe even make some new friends as you embark on this soul-shaking journey. Come ready to dance, sweat, and enjoy a night of movement, community, and good vibes. The energy will be high, the music will be pumping, and the space will be filled with positivity and connection. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR: Joy Faith Wellness - Joy  grew up dancing and creating art to explore emotions and understand the world around her. This passion for movement led her to become a yoga teacher in 2008, where she quickly expanded her expertise to include Rahini and Dharma yoga, becoming an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 500). The journey continued with certifications in Let Your Yoga Dance®, Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra®, Reiki, and interfaith ministry. While teaching at Yoga for Life in Long Island, she blended yoga with art, writing, visualization, and dance, which inspired further studies into how healing can occur through the integration of embodiment, creativity, and spirituality. Joy earned an MA in Expressive Therapies from Lesley University, specializing in mental health counseling and dance/movement psychotherapy. Since then, she’s gained extensive clinical experience in various settings and achieved numerous licenses and certifications, including LMHC, LADC/CASAC, LCAT, and BC-DMT. She is currently pursuing a PhD focused on human development and learning, and continues to explore new practices such as Shake Your Soul® and Brainspotting. Her work reflects a holistic approach to healing, embracing mind, body, and spirit. Clients who work with her are open to creative and embodied methods to access the deep wisdom within themselves.
