As the Berkshires' pioneering trans-owned café, event venue, and community darkroom, they are dedicated to blending nourishment, art, and community.
Wander is a multi-faceted, light filled 3,000 sq ft community hub nestled just off North Street in the vibrant heart of downtown Pittsfield, Mass
By day, come relax or work in a nourishing café, a welcoming space where all may gather.
Our café is unique in that it is recovery-focused, functional non-alcoholic beverages, along with holistic alternatives such as herbal mocktails, tinctures, and teas that promote well-being and vitality. Our menu includes wholesome, nutrient-dense snacks and grab-and-go options designed to energize and satisfy, catering to the needs of busy individuals and those seeking healthy alternatives.
We are proud to be the future home to the first community teaching darkroom in the Berkshires.
Our darkroom is a unique opportunity for analog photography enthusiasts of all ages, including learners from local schools, to be inspired, learn and create together.
We are doing our part to keep the magic of the darkroom alive, you can help by contributing to our capital campaign.

Additionally, our semi-private studio offers a range of community classes, workshops, and gatherings.
To ensure accessibility, all classes and workshops will be open to the public with a sliding scale, pay-what-you-can model. We believe that cost should not be a barrier to learning and are committed to providing free classes in area public schools through several partnerships with Berkshire community organizations.
